Pan Card Cancellation

As of now, it is not possible to cancel a PAN card. However, you can surrender your PAN card if you no longer need it. To surrender your PAN card, you can either:

Visit your local Income Tax Assessing Officer (ITO) office and submit a letter requesting the cancellation of your PAN card. The letter should include your PAN number, your name, your address, and the reason for surrendering your PAN card.
Submit a request for cancellation of your PAN card online through the NSDL website. To do this, you will need to create an account on the NSDL website and fill out a PAN cancellation form. You will also need to upload a scanned copy of your PAN card and a copy of your identity proof.
